Superstar Salman Khan has a knack of inviting troubles through his controversial statements. Just after the ire against his ‘rape remark’ had come down, he again gave an opportunity to his critics to point out fingers at him.
Salman came out in support of Pakistani artists saying that terrorists and artists are different.
The Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) called for a complete ban on Pakistani actors asking them to leave India soon after a Army camp in Uri was attacked by across the border terrorists.
The 'Sultan' star invited severe criticism from several quarters for speaking in favour of Pakistani actors working in the Hindi film industry. He had said that ‘they are not terrorists and they come here with a proper visa which is issued by the government’.
Now, father Salim Khan has come to his son’s rescue. He posted a series of sarcastic tweets to put across his point.
Along with Salman, he also batted for filmmakers Mahesh Bhatt and Karan Johar.
Here is what Salim Khan tweeted:
With such a strong backing from hi father, Salman now doesn’t need to come out in his own defense.
