Saif Ali Khan starrer Go Goa Gone to get a sequel, read details inside
The 2013 hit Horror comedy will come out with a second installment.
Go Goa Gone was a memorable hit from 2013 that brought forth a rarely taken up genre of Horror Comedy. Based on the concept of Zombies, the film showcased Saif Ali Khan, Kunal Khemu, and Vir Das in pivotal roles trying to escape from Goa that is filled with people turning into zombies. This hilarious comedy was well-received back then and is all set to come out with a sequel Go Goa Gone 2.
Saif will replay the role of Boris in the sequel. Talking about the film, he told DNA, “We are doing Go Go Gone 2. It’s an exciting idea and I’ve really liked it. I will return as Boris in the sequel. But this time, I’ll be on a different mission. Raj and DK have found an interesting premise for the second installment, which is in sync with the first part. They are currently writing the script. The other characters played by Kunal Kemmu and Vir Das will also be a part of it. We start filming next January.”
He added, “There will be another supporting actor as well as a heroine, who will aid Boris in his mission. The casting will be underway in a month’s time. Both the directors want an A-list actress for the role.”
Co-actor Kunal Khemu also confirmed the news with The Times of India sometime back saying that the core cast of Go Goa Gone will soon return with a sequel.
Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan will be seen playing a cop on the upcoming Netflix India Original Sacred Games.
