Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar’s upcoming movie ‘Rustom’ has been the talk of the town lately. Everyone is going gaga over Akshay’s appearance as the naval officer Rustom Pavri in the movie and he does look dapper in the uniform.

But apart from Akshay, there is this another star is in the movie which is making the heads turn.

We are talking about Esha Gupta, who will be playing a negative role in ‘Rustom’.

Interestingly, it is for the first time that Esha will be seen in a grey shade.

But the stunning actress is quite excited for her role and says that it was actresses Priyanka Chopra and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who had inspired her to do a negative role.

“Not much actresses are seen doing such kind of roles. I think Priyanka Chopra in ‘Aitraz’ and Aishwarya Rai in ‘Khakee’ have done such roles with negative shade. Priyanka and Aishwarya have done several romantic movies; however, both the actress left a mark with negative roles. In fact, Priyanka even won several awards for ‘Aitrazz’. I haven’t done this role for an award, but I want my character to be appreciated. I will get a lot of chances to do romantic, emotional and comic roles, but will hardly get another chance to play a character like this. This is the reason I agreed to do a negative role in ‘Rustom’,” Esha told a leading daily.

‘Rustom’ will feature Esha in a classic look of 1950s. Directed by Tinu suresh Desai, the movie also stars Ileana D’Cruz in the lead role.

‘Rsutom’ is scheduled to release on August 12 against Hrithik Roshan’s periodic drama ‘Mohenjo Daro’.
