Actresses Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif will be seen playing prominent roles in Aanand L Rai's upcoming film alongside superstar Shah Rukh Khan, as per media reports. SRK will essay the role of a dwarf in the film.
Quoting a source, a leading daily reported that the director has finalised the names of Deepika and Katrina and both the ladies have powerful roles in the film. It further added that their characters are different from each other and makers will soon make the announcement for the same.
According to the latest reports, Katrina will play the role of a Bollywood actress and Deepika will essay the character of rural Indian girl and SRK’s love interest.
However, official announcement on the same is still awaited.
If this news turns out to be true, then both the actresses will be sharing the screen space for the first time.
The actresses had a mutual romantic interest in the past as Ranbir Kapoor and this is said to be the reason of the cold war between the two. The actor previously dated Deepika and then started going around with Katrina, thus it was speculated that all is not too well between the two.
Katrina herself accepted on ‘Koffee With Karan’ that she is not good friends with Deepika.
Now, the coming time will tell if movie buffs will get to see these beauties together on screen.
