Rishi remembers Md Rafi on his death anniversary and Sonu Nigam thanks him for being his mentor
Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor and playback singer Sonu Nigam shared their candid experiences with singing legend Mohammed Rafi.
Remembering the legend Mohammed Rafi on his 37th death anniversary, Bollywood fraternity shared few of their candid and personal experience with the legendary singer.
Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor in his emotional tweet thanked the singer for being his voice in number of his films. Veteran actor and dad of Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor, Rishi further wished him more peace and expressed his grief for losing the singer 37 years back.
Rishi wrote, ‘’Remembering the great Mohammad Rafi Sahab. Thank you for being my voice, lost you 37years back today. Peace be with you!’’
Meanwhile, Bollywood playback singer Sonu Nigam while talking about his singing style disclosed how he had learned from the legendary singer Rafi Sahab. Sonu said that Rafi sahab was born with the talent to express himself so effortlessly through his songs.
Sonu even demonstrated through a song the difference between Mohammed Rafi’s singing style and the nowadays singing style. He said that he has learned a lot from Rafi Sahab, not only how to express, but how to bring feelings into your song. He was born with in-built singing talent, Sonu said while talking about Md Rafi.
