At a time when the entire nation is mourning the loss of film legend Vinod Khanna, Twitter has done it again. In a comedy of errors situation, members of the social media tagged cricketer Vinod Kambli instead of actor Vinod Khanna.
While such mix-up on Twitter is nothing new, but this one is rather insensitive. After the death of iconic actor Vinod Khanna, a lot of people paid tribute to him on Twitter.

However, some people accidentally tagged Vinod Kambli in memorial posts in place of the superstar.
What was hilarious and shocking at the same was that some people didn't even really knew who Vinod Kambli is! They just tagged him for the sake of it calling him "a great footballer".
The wrong tweets were just unstoppable. Some wrote "2 minutes of silence for Vinod Kambli" while other tweeted "Vinod Kambli no more RIP".
As such insensitive tweets started to storm the internet, even Vinod Kambli got fed up. The cricketer then took to Twitter to fend off these trolls.
"Shame on you people n who so ever have tweeted about Vinod khanna's death n tagged my name in their tweets", tweeted the cricketer.
In another tweet, he said,"Respect for vinod khanna.A versatile Actor and who so ever had tweeted abt me.God will surely punished you".
