Ranveer Singh is currently busy prepping for Kabir Khan directorial 83. The movie which is based on India's historic Cricket World Cup victory in 1983 has Ranveer playing the lead role of Kapil Dev. While Saqib Saleem will be seen playing the role of Mohinder Amarnath, Tahir Bhasin will essay the role of Sunil Gavaskar in the sports drama and Chirag Patil will play the role of his father Sandeep Patil. The film also features Pankaj Tripathi in an important role of Man Singh, the manager of 1983 World Cup-winning cricket team.
Presently, the boys are busy preparing for their roles before they start shooting in London with a 100-day schedule. For the last leg of the training, the team is in the picturesque town of Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. Director Kabir Khan told Mirror, ''It’s a cricket boot camp at the beautiful Kangra stadium up in the mountains. We will live together and train like a cricket team for the next 10 days. Many of the players from the original squad will also be here to train the actors''. The movie will be extensively shot in England and India. For unversed, Kapil Dev and Balwinder Singh Sandhu will be training the actors.

Besides, Ammy Virk, Harrdy Sandhu, Jiiva, Addinath M Kothare and Sahil Khattar among others will also be seen in important roles. The movie produced by Reliance Entertainment is scheduled to hit the screens on March 10, 2020.
