Actor Ranveer Singh is garnering praises for his spectacular performance as Alauddin Khalji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial venture Padmaavat. Well, it goes without saying that his menacing act will won him many awards and now megastar Amitabh Bachchan has also lauded the actor and send flowers and handwritten note to him. The actor was beaming with joy as he shared the news on social media. This is indeed a great news for all Ranveer’s fans.
Ranveer took to micro-blogging site Twitter and shared the picture. He tweeted, “Mujhe mera award mil gaya @SrBachchan.”
This is not the first time Big B had sent handwritten notes to Ranveer as earlier he also sent appreciation notes to him after watching his performance in 2015 film Bajirao Mastani.
Ranveer, in an interview to an entertainment portal, Bollywoodlife.com stated that the letters from the veteran actor are his most prized possessions. He added that every time he gets handwritten notes from the actor, he framed and get it locked in the locker.
The actor will surely receive many awards for his performance.
After facing protests, Padmaavat hit the silver screens on January 25. The movie has crossed Rs 100 cr mark at the box office. Along with Ranveer, Padmaavat also featured actress Deepika Padukone and actor Shahid Kapoor in pivotal roles.
