Actor Ranbir Kapoor who will be seen playing the role of actor Sanjay Dutt in his biopic to be helmed by filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani revealed that the youth will learn a lot from the actor’s mistakes after watching the movie.
While talking to a leading magazine, the ‘Barfi’ actor revealed that the movie will touch the different aspects of Dutt’s life. He added that the film will talk about father-son relationship, human flaws, Sanjay’s relationship with his friends and also about his broken marriages.
Ranbir further said that the film will not have any propaganda and deals with different emotions.
The 34-year-old said, “It’s emotional, it’s funny, it’s sad, it’s bittersweet. The youth have a lot to learn from his mistakes.”
Hirani who has previously worked with Sanjay in ‘Munna Bhai M.B.B.S.’ and ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’ has written different incidents of Dutt’s life in the biopic.
Sanjay Dutt was convicted in 1993 Mumbai serial blasts case and after completing his jail sentence in February 2016, the actor now will be making his comeback to the big screen with director Omung Kumar’s ‘Bhoomi’ that revolves around a father-daughter relationship.
On a related note, this is for the first time Ranbir will be working with Rajkumar Hirani. The yet-to-be titled project is scheduled to have a Christmas release.
