Ex-flames Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor are on a promotional spree for their forthcoming Anurag Basu directorial Jagga Jasoos. During his film promotion actor Ranbir was many times seen taking a dig at Katrina.
Both Ranbir and Katrina, who were in five years of relationships before they broke up recently, will be seen romancing onscreen in Jagga Jasoos.
The ex-couple are seen frequently giving interviews for the promotions of their forthcoming films. And it was during a promotional interview when Ranbir took a dig at Katrina and even doubted her acting skills.
Well, don’t get shocked as all these happened on a lighter note. Both Katrina and Ranbir were giving an interview to a channel and when the actor was asked to say something about Katrina’s acting skills. Without taking a pause Ranbir said that he don’t think Katrina has ever acted.
He was quoted saying, “Meine overacting ki hai. Katrina? I don’t think Katrina ne kabhi overacting ki hai. Kabhi Kabhi filmo mein inhone acting hi nahi ki hai lekin overacting kabhi nahi ki hai.(I have overacted, yes. But Katrina? I don’t think Katrina has ever done that. In fact, there are films where she hasn’t acted at all. So yes, she has never overacted in a film).”
To which Katrina replied shockingly and immediately asked Ranbir, “Sorry, what did you say?”
Clarifying his statement Ranbir immediately said, “When I say you haven’t acted in a few films, I mean that you were so flawlessly natural that you didn’t need to ‘act’. In Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara you were so natural.”

Neutralising the conversation Katrina further said, ‘’We have come on set every day just trying...it’s almost like a competition which people also see in the media. In some places I have been reading, people are taking it in the wrong way. This joking competition that we have between us, people are misunderstanding it.”
Ranbir responding on a lighter note said, “I’m not joking.”
