Ranbir Kapoor on wedding plans with Alia Bhatt: I have always believed that marriage is something that will happen naturally

Ever since the news of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s collaboration for their forthcoming film Brahmastra surfaced, link up rumours of the actors also started making rounds. Alia, who was reportedly dating Sidharth Malhotra earlier, after break-up with the Student of the Year star, turned heads for her alleged relationship with Ranbir Kapoor.

The Brahmastra actors were many times spotted together on an outing. A lot has been said and written about their alleged affairs, but no official statement came from either side ever.

Talking about his bonding with Alia and his career, Ranbir in an interview with Hindustan Times, said, ‘’I have said this before: it’s very new right now, so it would be really presumptuous to say anything about it or judge it. Workwise, as I work with her in Brahmastra, I know that as a talent, she is at a superlative level. The kind of dedication and love she has for her work is very inspiring. Work comes first for her. After working for 10 years, I may have felt a little jaded or tired, but when you look at her commitment, it rejuvenates you and makes you want to do better.’’

Ranbir spoke in depth about his bonding with Alia both in professional and personal life. He said that he would love to collaborate with Alia in future projects as well.

Talking about his marriage plans with Alia, Ranbir further in the interview said, ‘’it’s [such rumours] all a part of show business. You make up a story, and soon, there’s another story of the first story, and so on. I have always believed that marriage is something that will happen naturally. It can’t be like, ‘Okay, I am 35 now, so it’s time to get married’. It should come to you and your partner naturally and you should both feel, ‘This is the right phase. Now, we should take this relationship to the next level’. But abhi aisi koi baat nai hai. I haven’t decided on marriage yet.

Helmed by Ayan Mukerji and bankrolled by Karan Johar, Ranbir and Alia’s Brahmastra also features Amitabh Bachchan in lead role.
