Ranbir Kapoor has finally opened up on the reason behind his love story with Katrina Kaif. The actor recently got candid about his relationship with Katrina saying their movie ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’ played an important role in their love story.
Interestingly, the couple had met for the first time on the sets of the movie and their pair was loved by the audience.
Talking about ‘Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani’, the actor told an entertainment portal,
“It had simple storytelling, it had heart and I also fell in love during that film with Katrina”.
Apparently, the reports of their relationship started doing the rounds post the release of the movie.
Ranbir recently got candid about his split with Katrina and confessed that the ‘Baar Baar Dekho’ actress was an influential part of his life.
“Katrina, after my parents, has been the most inspiring and motivating factor in my life. Period. That is too dear to me and there is no explanation, there is nothing I can tell you about it. Nobody will understand it. And I don't want to sell it,” Ranbir was quoted saying.
Their break-up came as rude shock for everyone around them as they were rumoured to be getting married this year.
Despite parting ways on a sad note, the couple maintained a stoic stance on their break up and maintained professional terms with each other.
Ranbir-Katrina will soon be seen sharing the screen space in Anurag Basu’s much delayed movie ‘Jagga Jasoos’. This will be their first movie together post break-up. ‘Jagga Jasoos’ is scheduled to release on April 7, 2017.
