New Delhi: Ranbir Kapoor’s personal life has been the centre of media attraction since a while now. The actor broke up with his girlfriend Katrina Kaif at the beginning of this year and since then he is in the news for one or the other reason.
Ranbir, reportedly, had moved out of his love nest post split with Katrina with whom he was in a live-in-relationship. It was believed that ‘Rockstar’ will move to his parent’s house but he rented an apartment instead.
Now after almost four months of living there, the ‘Tamasha’ star created a sensation in the tinselvile by gifting himself a really expensive bachelor pad.
According to the media reports, Ranbir has purchased a sprawling apartment in Pali Hill for Rs 35 crore. He has paid a whopping amount of Rs 1.42 lakh per square feet, which is the highest ever paid money as per square feet rate in Mumbai so far.
Ranbir’s new luxury apartment is a 2,460 sq ft based on the seventh floor in a 12-storey tower of Vastu Pali Hill. It is also close to the Kapoors' Krishna Raj bungalow.
So, far India’s largest deal was recorded last year when the industrialist Jindal family paid a record Rs 1.60 lakh a sq ft for a 10,000 sq ft duplex in an upcoming Lodha tower at Altamount Road.
Currently, Ranbir Kapoor is busy shooting for two of his upcoming movie, ‘Jagga Jasoos’ opposite Katrina Kaif and Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ starring Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
