Actor Ranbir Kapoor, who has set the internet on fire with his latest resembling look to Sanjay Dutt for his biopic, has a sweet message for Badrinath Ki Dulhania actress Alia Bhatt. Ranbir compared Alia with Pink star Amitabh Bachchan.
Ranbir while speaking at the Lokmat Maharashtrian of the Year Awards event yesterday called Alia the contemporary Amitabh.
Interestingly, during the event both the actors Alia and Ranbir were awarded for their contribution in the entertainment world.
During the award show, when Ranbir was asked that which film of Alia impressed him most? To which Ranbir replied, Highway.
Further speaking about the Dear Zindagi actress Alia, Ranbir said that she is the Amitabh Bachchan of Bollywood today.
As recently the 64th National Films Award was held and despite performing tremendously in number of fantastic films like Udta Punjab and Dear Zindagi, the actress didn’t get any mention at the National Awards.
When asked about her reaction to it, Alia said, "Please don't feel bad. I am not going anywhere. There is lot of time. I did not feel bad so even you don't feel bad about it."
On work front both Alia and Ranbir will feature together in Ayan Mukerji's next Dragon.
