Actor Vijay Deverakonda's Arjun Reddy is receiving good reviews from critics and movie buffs. The movie is doing good business at Andhra Pradesh and Telangana box office and people are heaping praises on the actor. Now, filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma has also lauded the film and shared some kinds words for it on social media. In a lengthy post, the ace director called Vijay a combination of young Amitabh Bachchan and Hollywood actor Al Pacino.
RGV went on to say that Vijay is the only actor, who looks like a hero without slow motion or ramping shots adding that he is going to be the first megastar of Telangana state. Earlier, the film ran into controversy because of the liplock scene in the poster.
In fact, that time also RGV came out in support of the film and slammed the Congress leader for tearing the poster. With Arjun Reddy performing well at the box office, it is yet to be seen what amount the flick earns in coming days.
Directed by Sandeep Vanga, the movie also featured Shalini Pandey and Kanchana. On a related note, RGV is currently occupied with the work of his next directorial venture based on the legendary actor NTR.
