New Delhi: Filmmaker Ram Gopal Verma, who holds the credit for giving controversial statements, has done it yet again. This time his words involve superstar Rajinikanth.
RGV, who is making a film titled ‘Veerapan- None like him existed’ has said that the most-wanted bandit wanted to kidnap Rajinikanth.
Reportedly, the director said that he got this information by a close aide of Veerapan.
In the film, there is a sequence where Veerapan sketches a plot to kidnap the south superstar, Ram Gopal Verma revealed.
The director also revealed that Veerappan was planning to kidnap Rajinikanth exactly the same way he had abducted Kannada film actor Raj Kumar. RGV told to a leading daily,
“From all the truth I gathered Veerappan was unbelievable, but what is even more unbelievable is the drama which went behind the plan to kill him.”
In a tweet later, he pointed out that the reason why Veerapan wanted to do so was because he thought he was more famous than the cine star.

RGV’s latest venture Veerapan chronicles the life of the most wanted bandit in various stages. The film will also bring to light - Operation Cocoon - that killed the most wanted brigand.
Slated for a release on May 27, the film stars, Sandeep Bharadwaj, Sachiin J Joshi, Usha Jadhav, and Lisa Ray.
