New Delhi: It looks like superstar Shah Rukh Khan is not in favour of box office clashes, something which he might have learnt after his ‘Dilwale’ took actor Ranveer Singh’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ head on in December last year. He postponed the release of his movie ‘Raees’ to avoid clash with Salman Khan’s ‘Sultan’.
Now, grapevine is abuzz that King Khan wants that Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Kaabil’ doesn’t clash with his ‘Raees’ in January 2017 and he reportedly even met Rakesh Roshan for the same.
SRK, took to Twitter to tell that he met Rakesh but gossipmongers feel that there is more to this meeting.
Reportedly, SRK with his producer Ritesh Sidhwani met Rakesh to come at a conclusion. Although, nothing about the meeting has been officially announced out yet.
Earlier, while interacting with the media during Eid, Shah Rukh Khan had said,
“We have spoken to Hrithik and also Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar (producers of Raees). That was a month ago, but I guess now we can do some adjustments. Rakeshji (Kaabil producer Rakesh Roshan) and Ritesh and Farhan will be meeting again. We are trying to figure things out, so we don’t have a clash.”
Well, this is not the first time when SRK took steps to avoid a box office clash. During one of his latest interviews, King Khan had said that he tried his best to avoid the ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and ‘Dilwale’ clash too, but his attempts went to vain.
Now, let us see if the clash between ‘Raees’ and ‘Kaabil’ happens or not.
