After delivering blockbuster Tiger Zinda Hai, superstar Salman Khan is all set to amaze his fans with his next action thriller Race 3. After dropping a string of posters, makers of the movie have finally unveiled the much-awaited trailer which has some high-octane action sequences.
However, before launching the trailer, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan of Bollywood created suspense among his fans. Interestingly, Salman shared trailers of first two films of Race franchise, making his fans wait harder. See his tweets below:
With the start of the day, Race 3 trailer started trending on Twitter with #Race3TrailerDay. The movie directed by choreographer-turned-director Rem D'Souza has a host of actors like Bobby Deol, Daisy Shah, Saqib Saleem, Freddie Daruwala including series veteran Anil Kapoor. The movie also features Salman's Kick co-star Jacqueline Fernandez.
On May 10, Salman announced the trailer release date in an amusing way on Twiter. He wrote: ''Sach Batau . We were not ready with the #Race3Trailer . Is liye itne posters banaye . But Intezar ka fal meetha hota hai . The #Race3 trailer coming to u on May15 . And i promise u the wait will be worth it. Later a day before the trailer launch, Salman wrote ''Kal ka mujhe thoda doubtful lag raha hai''. Well, Salman has maintained the right kind of curiosity around his forthcoming film.
This is the third instalment of the hit Race franchise and its storyline will be completely different from past two films. Salman is playing the character of Sikander, while Jacqueline will essay the role of Jessica. Bobby will play the role of Sikander's right hand, Yash and Daisy will be seen as Sanjana. Saqib Saleem plays the character named Suraj and Freddie is the baddie, Rana. Above all, Anil Kapoor is the bossman Shamsher in the film.
Race 3 has been extensively shot in Abu Dhabi, Kashmir, Ladakh. Behind the scenes pictures from Ladakh already went viral on social media. Reportedly, Race 3 will also have rehashed version of Allah Duhai Hai and Party On My Mind.
This Eid offering of Salman is being helmed with a whopping budget of Rs 120 crore. Race 3's satellite and digital rights are likely to be sold for Rs 150 crore. The action director of the movie Tom Struthers said that the scale of Race 3 is something that has not been seen in Indian cinema before.
The third instalment of Race franchise is being produced by Ramesh Taurani and Salman Khan Films. The previous two films were helmed by duo Abbas-Mustan. While, Saif Ali Khan, Akshaye Khanna, Katrina Kaif and Sameera Reddy were in the first part, Saif, John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez and Deepika Padukone featured in Race 2.
