Superstar Salman Khan’s Race 3 has released, and it is receiving a wonderful response at the box office. The film earned Rs 29.17 cr on its first day and became the highest opener of 2018. Eid weekend gave massive boost to the collection. Yes, Race 3 raked in Rs 38.14 cr on its second day and the film has earned Rs 67.31 cr till now. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the numbers on social media.
Taran took to micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote, “#Race3 hits the ball out of the park on Day 2 [Sat]... #Eid festivities give MASSIVE BOOST to its biz... Day 3 [Sun] should score BIG NUMBERS yet again... ₹ 100 cr+ weekend on the cards... Fri 29.17 cr, Sat 38.14 cr. Total: ₹ 67.31 cr. India biz.”
It goes without saying that Salman enjoys huge fan following. Thus, despite receiving mixed reviews, Race 3 emerged as the biggest opener of 2018. The numbers are expected to grow in coming days.
Directed by Remo D’Souza, the film also featured Anil Kapoor, Saqib Saleem, Jacqueline Fernandez, Bobby Deol and Daisy Shah in pivotal roles.
On a related note, Salman will soon start shooting for Bharat alongside Priyanka Chopra and Disha Patani.
