Priyanka Chopra’s much-awaited biographical drama titled The Sky Is Pink helmed by Shonali Bose finally got a release date. The Sky Is Pink also stars Dangal girl Zaira Wasim and Farhan Akhtar in pivotal roles.
The film is co-produced by Siddharth Roy Kapur, Ronnie Screwvala and Chopra. The makers of The Sky Is Pink announced that it will release on October 11, this year.

Earlier, while shooting for The Sky Is Pink in Delhi, Priyanka shared a pic on Instagram and wrote, ‘’ The sun and I.. Delhi here we go..'The Sky Is Pink'.’’
The film, which is based on a true-life story, is mainly shot in Delhi, Mumbai, London and the Andamans. Juhi Chaturvedi has written the dialogues and Pritam Chakraborty has composed the music for the film, which is backed by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur.
The Sky Is Pink, which also stars Farhan Akhtar, reportedly revolves around Aisha Chaudhary, who became a motivational speaker after being diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis at the age of 13.
