New Delhi: We all know how Bollywood beauty Priyanka Chopra is making all of us proud in the West. Her stint in ABC’s ‘Quantico’ was a successful one and her upcoming Hollywood film ‘Baywatch’ is creating all the right noises.

After 10 busy months, which included presenting the Oscars, shooting and finishing ‘Baywatch’ and ‘Quantico’ and gracing many International magazine covers; PeeCee has returned home. But her visit is not only about relaxing and spending time with closed ones. It is also about making money.

Reportedly, a warm welcome to Priyanka has been extended by the advertising world which includes 24 advertising campaigns in 40 days worth Rs 100 crores.

But, has Priyanka hiked her endorsement fees after making it big in Hollywood? Not quite. People from the advertising world suggest that Priyanka’s Hollywood steps have nothing to do with her brand value in India. She is already a big star here and her endorsement fees is in minute way affected by her stardom in West.

Managing director of Parle Argo, Nadia Chauhan was quoted by a leading daily,

“Priyanka's latest campaign may have an international feel, but it is her status as a Bollywood star that had the brand raising their glasses to her.”

So, right now despite coming out as a strong figure in the West, the stardom is not translating into big money. However, this doesn’t mean it will not change. Experts feel that post the release of ‘Baywatch’; Priyanka’s brand value will shoot high.
