New Delhi: Actress Pratyusha Banerjee’s suicide case continues to be an unsolved mystery. Her boyfriend Rahul Raj Singh has been the prime suspect but nothing concrete has been established that can prove his role in forcing the ‘Balika Vadhu’ actress to take such a drastic step.
Meanwhile, Pratyusha’s mother Soma Banerjee has initiated an online petition seeking justice for his late daughter.
But, Rahul and Pratyusha’s mutual friend Jazz has made a shocking revelation which can change the complete outlook of he cause.
Pratyusha Banerjee's friend Jazz
The lady, who partied with Rahul and Pratyusha a night before her suicide, has claimed that Pratyusha didn’t commit suicide but played a prank on her boyfriend.
During an interview to a leading daily, Jazz said,
“Pratyusha was too strong a woman to kill herself. I was with her till the morning of that fateful day and I didn’t get any inkling of any such intention. She was cheerful and happy about her impending marriage to Rahul. I feel Pratyusha was trying to play a prank on Rahul and her prank led to the accident. She was not the type to take in any of Rahul’s highhandedness and end her life over it.”
Notably, Pratyusha’s body had marks on face and neck, which pointed towards the actress having an abusive relationship with Rahul.
Talking about this, she said.
“When I met Pratyusha, I asked her about the marks. She told me that it was due to spluttering of hot oil while frying fish and when the skin burns, it takes time to heal.”
Pratyusha Banerjee and Rahul Raj Singh
Talking about Rahul’s possible role in Pratyusha’s suicide, considering their relationship was not going smooth, Jazz said:
“We cannot blame Rahul alone; why are people forgetting other aspects to the case? She was keen to get married. If any woman would have had a problem with their guy, they would go to their mother’s or best friend’s house. Plus, there was an option of staying alone and block the person from her life. Everyone goes through financial issues, and problems do exist between a couple, but that does not mean you end your life. The whole case is skewed against just one party — Rahul. What about the other parties – her parents and her financial obligations towards them? I am not blaming anyone, but want truth to prevail.”
Well! Such comments and revelations will only make the case murkier and not help in finding the real culprit.
Interestingly, Jazz is set to make her debut with Sunny Leone’s film “Beiimaan Love”.
It makes us wonder if her statement is just to create some buzz. What do you think? Tell us in the comments below.
