New Delhi: Pratyusha Banerjee breathed her last yesterday after she allegedly hung herself from the ceiling fan of her residence in Goregaon, Mumbai. The 24 year old chirpy actress shot to stardom after she played the role of Anandi in hit television serial Balika Vadhu.
The shocking news of her death is being probed by police from different angles. Her boyfriend Rahul Raj is being questioned by cops in this matter. Rahul and Pratyusha were last seen in reality show Power Couple.
Amidst all the controversial theories doing rounds of media about her death, a new turn in the mystery will surprise you. Apparently, Pratyusha had applied sindoor on her birthday party. She celebrated her birthday on August 10.
Pratyusha’s body also had sindoor on the forehead.

It is really surprising that, Pratyusha who was allegedly unmarried attended her birthday party with sindoor on her forehead. It can be argued that maybe she came to the party directly from the shoot and the sindoor would be a part of her prop.
But, this is not the case. Pratyusha came to her birthday party from her home which points in the direction that she applied the sindoor deliberately, maybe.
Actress Dolly Bindra too supports this theory. Post the demise of TV’s beloved Anandi, Bindra told a leading daily,
“I saw her body. She had applied sindoor”.
A few days ago Pratyusha had visited designer Rohit Verma and asked him to stitch her wedding lehenga. All these factors are adding to controversies of the already disheartening suicide.
Meanwhile, Pratyusha’s parents have landed in Mumabi and the post mortem of her body has also begun.
