The film Lupt which is a directorial debut of Prabhuraj was set to release on the theatre today. But this supernatural thriller has now been rescheduled for its release to November 2 all across the country.
The director of the movie announced the rescheduling of Lupt on the micro-blogging site. He took to his Twitter and wrote, "Lupt has a new date. 2nd November 2018."
With as many as 11 films releasing across India today, the makers of Lupt took a step back in order to avoid clutter in the theatres respecting their audience. The film's release is now pushed to a later date to facilitate the correct spacing for the showcase.
The film's two conceptual teasers and then the official trailer is really intriguing. As the movie features versatile actors including Jaaved Jaffrey and Vijay Raaz, Lupt already created a buzz for their fans. Lupt also features Karan Anand, Niki Walia, Meenakshi Dixit, Rishabh, Chadha and Rishina Kandhari in different roles.

An interesting fact about the film is the recreation of an old popular Bollywood song 'Bhoot Hun Main' from the film 'Bhoot' starring Urmila Matondkar. Prabhuraj reinvented the song in Lupt to revive old memories.

The horror drama which is inspired by a true story is produced by Hanwant Khatri and Lalit Kirir and is slated for release on November 2.
