After doing wonders at the international box office, actor Prabhas's Baahubali 2 is all set to hit the screens in China. The movie is scheduled to release on September 16 in the country. Trade analyst Ramesh Bala informed about it on social media. Well, after smashing all the possible records, filmmaker SS Rajamouli's is set to create new ones in China. This is known to all that superstar Aamir Khan’s Dangal crossed Rs 1000 crore mark at the Chinese box office. Will Baahubali 2 break Dangal’s record?
Ramesh Bala took to micro-blogging site Twiiter to share the news. He tweeted, “#Baahubali2 will release in #China in Sep'17 in 4,000 Screens.. BO Target: ¥300M ($44.1 Million).. Stars will go to #China for Promotions..”
He also informed that the film will also be releasing in countries like Japan, Korea, and Taiwan.
The first part of Baahubali series didn’t receive strong response at the Chinese box office. It is yet to be seen if Baahubali 2 manages to woo the audiences. It seems that makers of the film are inspired by Dangal that opened to more than 7,000 screens at Chinese box office.
Baahubali 2 has done earth-shattering collections. The movie crossed Rs 1500 crore mark at the international box office. Baahubali 2 featured talented actors Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Rana Daggubati and Sathyaraj in pivotal roles.
