Film maker Shoojit Sircar’s recent production ‘Pink’ has been the talk of the town ever since it has been released.
Starring megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Tapsee Pannu, Andrea Taring and Krti Kulhari in the lead, ‘Pink’ is winning a lot of appreciation for dealing with the sensitive issue of women’s condition in our patriarchal society.
While the entire nation is quite impressed with movie, Kirti Kulhari is still overwhelmed with the fact she got a chance to share the screen space with the living legend Amitabh Bachchan.
Kirti spoke about her experience of working with Big B and said that the veteran actor is a co-actor to be around. The actress was all praises about Bachchan and said that she learned a lot from him. She also revealed the two important lessons she learned from the superstar- 'never take success for granted' and 'how to be a giving and caring person and co-actor'.
“My character does share some very important and beautiful moments in the film with Amitabh Bachchan and I’ll be forever indebted to him forgiving me the opportunity to work with him”, Kirti said.
The actress also confessed that ‘Pink’ had a deep effect on her and has changed her life to some extent.
"It has totally re-affirmed my faith in the power of cinema to transform. Cinema is a reflection of society and in most cases has the ability to be a mirror and not just show the problems but also give solutions and help them reach a large number of people through faces and voices that matter. In this case, Amitabh sir is the voice that carries our message", Kirti added.
Directed by Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, ‘Pink’ was release on September 16.
