Shubh Din is a celebration and victory song crooned by Jyotica Tangri and Keerthi Sagathia. It has a Rajasthani folk touch to it.

Parmanu First song of John Abraham's film Parmanu released

Makers of John Abraham and Diana Penty starrer Parmanu: The Story Of Pokhran have dropped first song of the film, Shubh Din. The song crooned by Jyotica Tangri and Keerthi Sagathia has a Rajasthani folk touch to it. It has been composed by Sachin-Jigar and lyrics have been penned by Vayu.

The song is a celebration of India's victory in becoming a nuclear state in 1998. The movie is based on Pokhran nuclear tests which were conducted in Pokhran of Rajasthan. The trailer of the film was launched on May 11, which also earmarked the 20th anniversary of Pokhran nuclear tests. Watch the song below:

 

Directed by Abhishek Sharma, the movie got mired in legal controversy between production houses JA Entertainment and KriArj Entertainment. John had filed criminal cases against Prernaa Arora and her company KriArj Entertainment for cheating, breach of trust, defamation and offences committed under the Information Technology Act.  At the trailer launch, John said: "We are not here to throw mud on anybody's face, we want to keep it clean. We want to keep the controversy aside. We are confident about the film and the subject that we have chosen."

The release date of the movie has been pushed a couple of times before May 25 was zeroed in. The John Abraham starrer will now clash with Vikramaditya Motwane's Bhavesh Joshi Superhero, featuring Harshvardhan Kapoor.
