Veteran actor and BJP MP Paresh Rawal has credited superstar Salman Khan for his "biggest" hit "Tiger Zinda Hai". Paresh was seen in a pivotal role in the Ali Abbas Zafar directorial "Tiger Zinda Hai" in which he played an undercover agent named Firdauz. Furthermore, Paresh Rawal also credited his first commercial hit Naam to Salman Khan’s father and writer Salim Khan.
"Father Salim Khan saab gave me my first commercial hit ('Naam') and his son Salman Khan gives me my biggest hit ('Tiger Zinda Hai')," Paresh tweeted on Thursday night.
Produced by Yash Raj Films, "Tiger Zinda Hai", which also stars Katrina Kaif, crossed the Rs 300 crore mark at the box office.
The high-on-action entertainer is the third Salman movie to surpass the Rs 300 crore mark after "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" and "Sultan".
"Tiger Zinda Hai" emerged as the highest grossing Hindi film of 2017, next only to the Hindi-dubbed version of "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion".
"'Tiger Zinda Hai' is entertaining children, youngsters, adults and families. This is the perfect holiday film for everyone to go to the theatres. Because the film is universal and has a very strong emotional connect in Tiger and Zoya's love story and in our message that humanity is above everything, it has become successful," Salman Khan was quoted as saying.
