The first look posters of Paltan have been launched introducing the lead star cast including Arjun Rampal, Sonu Sood, Harshvardhan Rane, Jackie Shroff and others.

The first posters of upcoming war film by JP Dutta were dropped on Tuesday. The first looks of the Bollywood war film showcase all the lead actors of the film including Sonu Sood, Arjun Rampal, Harshvardhan Rane, Siddhanth Kapoor, Luv Sinha and Gurmeet Chaughary in their military avatars. The actors shared the posters on their official social media accounts writing, “We might not KNOW them all but we OWE them all. ‪It’s time to #JoinThePaltan”

Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh also shared the posters of Paltan onhis official Twitter account. He wrote, “Presenting the principal characters of #Paltan... Directed by JP Dutta... 7 Sept 2018 release... #JoinThePaltan”

 He posted the looks of the characters played by 'Dabangg' star Sonu Sood, 'Daddy' star Arjun Rampal, 'Sanam Teri Kasam' star Harshvardhan Rane, 'Shootout at Wadala' star Siddhanth Kapoor, 'Sadiyaan' star Luv Sinha and well-known TV actor Gurmeet Chaudhary.

Earlier, Abhishek Bachchan was about to play among the male leads in the film. However, due to some unknown reasons, he signed off the film soon after the project was announced. Later he signed Anurag Kashyap’s Manmaraziyaan to make his comeback in Bollywood after a sabbatical of 2 years.

Paltan, which is based on the 1967 Nathu La military clash that took place along the Sikkim border, portrays an untold story of the Indian forces facing in an intense battle to thwart a Chinese infiltration.

With 'Paltan' JP Dutta is returning to direction after a 12-year long gap. The national-award-winning director had earlier treated the audience with war films like 'Border', 'LOC Kargil', and 'Refugee' among others.Presented by Zee Studios and produced by JP Dutta Films, the flick is slated to hit the silver screen on September 7.
