The protests have become deadlier as lately a dead body of a man was found hanging at Jaipur's Nahargarh Fort with a threat note linked with the film. Actress Alia Bhatt has reacted to the incident in her recent tweet and questioned about 'threats made openly without punishment'.
Alia took to micro-blogging site Twitter and tweeted, “his is what happens when violent threats are allowed to made openly without punishment! What is happening? Shocked!”
The deceased person has been identified as Chetan. The investigation is being carried out to see if it was a murder or suicide. In the pictures, the note can be seen written on the stone with charcoal. One of the messages reads, “Padmavati ka virodh karne walo, hum kile par sirf putle nahi latkate... Hum mein hai dum.”
