The first poster of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s directorial venture Padmavati has released and needless to say, it was worth your wait. In the poster, actress Deepika Padukone can be seen dressed beautifully like a queen. In traditional jewelleries and red Indian attire, the lady looks mesmerising. The picture will make wait for the film difficult. Along with Deepika, the film also features actors Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor.
The star cast of the film took to micro-blogging site Twitter to share the first look of the film. This is known to all that today is the first day of Navratri. Thus, the entire team chose this auspicious day to launch Padmavati's first look.
The makers have also announced the release date of the film. Padmavati is all set to hit the screens on December 1.
Ever since the making of the film started, it was embroiled in a controversy. Many religious groups stalled the shooting of the film saying that it shows queen Padmavati in bad light. This could be one of the reasons of the film's delayed release date. Last year, Ranveer shared a post in which the release date of Padmavati was November 17.

Now, as Deepika’s look is out, movie buffs are waiting to see Ranveer and Shahid’s look from the film. This is known to all that the entire cast has worked really hard to make this magnum opus and the fate of the film will be decided on December 1.
