Salman Khan’s next outing with filmmaker Sooraj Barjatya will not take another 16 years as it did for ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, with the director revealing that he has already started to work on the project that will feature the superstar.
While talking to a leading daily, Sooraj said that he has a rough idea in mind but it would take some time to take shape. He further informed that he hasn’t spoken to Salman on the topic as the project was still in a development stage.
However, he did indicate that much like his previous films, this one too will have the essence of family values.
“My zone is not in a genre which one can call workable. We both want to do something which keeps the values up regardless of the commercial success. That is our struggle,” Sooraj said.
Currently, the filmmaker is busy with his TV commitments which he says are very crucial to him.
Salman has previously worked with Sooraj in ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Kaun’ and ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’. ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ was their fourth film together.
Now, we can just wait to watch the talented duo create magic once again on the silver screen.
On a related note, Salman is presently occupied with the shooting of Kabir Khan directorial venture ‘Tubelight’. The movie is slated to release next year.
