After essaying the surprising grey shade in much talked about film ‘Wazir’ opposite Amitabh Bachchan, Neil Nitin Mukesh, is once again geared up to woo his fans in a very fresh and never-seen-before character. The actor will be seen portraying the lead role of Sanjay Gandhi, in the Madhur Bhandarkar’s controversial film 'Indu Sarkar' based on 1975 emergency.

After a lot of speculations about the lead character in the Madhur Bhandarkar’s controversial film, titled ‘Indu Sarkar’, the makers had finally confirmed the news by sharing the first look of the film.
As it is a Bhandarkar’s film, so need not to say that film is going to serve a full dose of reality based on political characters in the film. Earlier, it was said that the film title will not have any direct reference to the late prime minister, Indira Gandhi, but now as the title is out, somehow it shows reference to the late prime minister, and the iron lady of India Indira Gandhi.
National award winning director, Madhur Bhandarkar revealed that the complete cast and crew is dedicated for the this venture. Sources said that Neil Nitin Mukesh is also not leaving any stone unturned to do justice to the character of Sanjay Gandhi. He is busy in lot of reading to ensure he matches the demands of the films.

‘Indu Sarkar’ is a film based on late prime minister Indira Gandhi’s declaration of Emergency in India.
The film is still under process and it is likely to release by mid of this year.
