As expected, the biopic of Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’, will soon become the member of the coveted Rs 100 crore club. With the second Friday collections being approximately Rs 5.5 crore, the Sushant Singh Rajput starrer sits on a grand total of Rs 98.20 crore (approximately).

By Thursday, the movie had earned Rs 94.13 crore. Reports suggest that the second Friday collections has brought the movie just a throw away from the club and it is expected to enter it in the early shows of Saturday.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted this about the movie:

This Friday’s release ‘Mirzya’, however turned out to be a disappointment. The debut of actors Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher minted only Rs 2.20 crore on its opening day. He had yesterday tweeted that the trends in the early morning shows have been weak and the movie needs a miracle to leave a mark at the box office.

Directed by Rakesyh Omprakash Mehra and written by Gulzar, ‘Mirzya’ got positive reviews in terms of visual appeal. It was the chemistry between Harshvardhan and Saiyami that seemed a letdown to many viewers.

Parbhudeva-Sonu Sood-Tamannaah Bhatia’s ‘Tutak Tutak Tutiya’ too released yesterday but trends point out that it would not perform well at box office. The only high point of this movie, according to critics, was Tamannaah’s portrayal of two characters.
