Karan Johar’s Student of the Year 2 has been making huge headlines for its casting for quite some time now. From Disha Patani to Sara Ali Khan to Ananya Pandey, several names were associated with the Tiger Shroff starrer film. Recently, rumours were abuzz that Bigg Boss 11 contestant Priyank Sharma would be making his Bollywood debut with the KJo film. While the rumours were put to rest, fresh reports suggest that Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar is all set to enter Bollywood with the Karan Johar film Student of the Year 2.
According to India.com sources, Karan Johar is taken by the young girl’s beauty and confidence. Manushi might be KJo’s second heroine for Student Of The Year 2.
Considering that Manushi has become a name to reckon with in the national and international arena ever since she won the crown, it seems Karan wants to cash into this opportunity.
Karan Johar met Manushi at the Miss India event and then later at Filmfare Glamour and Style Awards 2017. Since then, the director has been singing praises for the Miss World.
Speculations about actresses of the film were rife from quite some time. Firstly, it was being said that the Sridevi Kapoor’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor will make her debut with the SOTY 2 but Karan recently announced that the lady will be entering Bollywood with Dhadak alongside Ishaan Khattar. There are chances that Disha Patani and Chunky Pandey’s daughter Ananya Pandey will play the female leads in the film. However, official confirmation on the same is still awaited.
Karan Johar took to Instagram to share the first poster of The Student of the Year 2 featuring Tiger Shroff. He captioned the image as, “he college opens its doors to a new Student!!! @tigerjackieshroff #studentoftheyear2 directed by @punitdmalhotra @apoorva1972 @dharmamovies @foxstarhindi.”

On a related note, Student Of The Year was the debut movie of Alia, Sidharth and Varun. Tiger was last seen in Munnal Michael. The film couldn’t do wonders at the box office.
