The first look poster of Manoj Bajpayee’s upcoming film Gali Guleiyan has been dropped by the makers. The Satyameva Jayate actor took to Twitter to reveal the poster.
Terming his film as a 'gem', he tweeted, "Presenting first poster of my highly acclaimed film @GaliGuleiyan releasing Sept 7th. This gem of a film is far bigger in content and excellence in all departments. PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD- it matters"
The 49-year-old actor looks quite intense in his look for the film and the poster surely promises a stellar performance along with an intriguing story line. The poster also boasts of the accolades earned by the movie at various film festivals.
Manoj Bajpayee bagged best actor award for 'Gali Guleiyan' at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, 2018. The movie also earned a special jury mention in the Best Indie Film category. Describing his character in 'Gali Guleiyan' as a complex one, Manoj said, "It is a fantastic feeling to win the award for the best actor at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne."
The psychological drama is slated to release on 7 September worldwide. It is a story about a man trapped within the walls and alleys of Old Delhi and his own mind, who attempts to break free to find a human connection. The film is directed by Los Angeles-based debutant filmmaker and winner of Director Guild of America Award, Dipesh Jain.
The first look poster also announced that the official trailer will be out on 17 August.
