Nihaar Pandya, who is still referred to as Deepika Padukone's ex-boyfriend is all set to make his Bollywood debut with Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika: The Queen Of Jhansi. The aspiring actor was in a relationship with currently Bollywood's reigning queen Deepika for three years. They both were in a live-in relationship when Deepika first moved to Mumbai for her career. Now, Nihaar has opened up on the label and said he doesn't find it annoying as he can't do anything about it right now.
Nihaar, in an interview to Mumbai Mirror said, ''I don't get worked up over it. Yes, even the press note about my acting debut that was sent out referred to me as 'ex-boyfriend' but there is not much I can do about it right now". Nihaar and Deepika are still in good terms with each other even after separation. Interestingly, both of them debuted in showbiz with music director Himesh Reshammiya's video. While we saw the leggy lass in Naam Hai Tera, Nihaar featured in I Love You O Saiyyoni.
Nihaar is undergoing tough training for his historical role of Baji Rao II. He attended multiple acting workshops and learnt horse-riding, sword-fighting for his iconic character. In July, Nihaar accidentally injured Kangana with his sword causing a deep injury.
