It’s been over a decade when actress Mahima Chaudhary, who is best known for her role in ‘Pardes’, parted ways with renowned Tennis player Leander Paes. The couple dated for long before parting ways in 2005; however, it wasn’t on a happy note.
And now after so many years, Mahima has now opened up on her painful break-up and mentioned how Peas was cheating on her.
“He maybe a good tennis player, but he didn’t play fair with me”. Mahima told an entertainment portal.
She further mentioned how Leander’s betrayal impacted her life and said,
“It wasn’t really shocking for me when I came to know that he was going around with someone else. His exit had no impact on my life. In fact, I became more mature as a person. I feel he did the same thing with Rhea (Pillai) as well”.
Reportedly, Leander had cheated on Mahima with Rhea Pillai, who happened to be Sanjay Dutt’s second wife. The couple were in a live-in relationship since 2005 and also have a daughter Aiyana. However, the things turned sour and Rhea-Leander parted ways in 2015. The couple is now fighting the custody case of their daughter.
On the other hand, Mahima Chaudhary is making her comeback in the industry. She is currently busy promotion her recent release ‘Dark Chocolate’ which is loosely based on the infamous Sheena Bora case.
The Bengali crime thriller is directed by Agnidev Chatterjee and also features Riya Sen in a key role. The movie was released on September 2.
