Actress Alia Bhatt who is gearing up for the release of her upcoming film ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ opposite actor Varun Dhawan recently revealed that her father and filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt calls himself an extinct volcano. She further added that her father wouldn’t direct a film.
On being asked if Alia would work with Mahesh, the actress revealed to a leading daily that her father has made it clear that he won’t direct any film but she would work with the production house.
Alia said, “My father won’t direct a film again. He has made it very clear. He calls himself an extinct volcano, because he doesn’t want to direct again. But I will work with the production house.”
The gorgeous actress has work in many films but never got the opportunity to feature in her father’s film. Talking about that the ‘Dear Zindagi’ actress stated, “When I do work with them, I want it to be because we want to do that film together and not because I am in the family. That would be a wrong reason.”
Well, people are eagerly waiting to see Alia in her father’s production.
Alia who made her debut alongside Varun with filmmaker Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year’ is working for the third time with the actor.
Directed by Shashank Khaitan, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ is the sequel of 2014 film ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhnaia’. The movie is slated to release on March 10.
