Actor Sushant Singh Rajput is going through a terrific phase on the work front. After portraying the role of M.S Dhoni in his biopic, he has become one of the most sought after actors of the industry. But, the actor has something else in his mind as he is planning to return to theatre for a play.
Sushant disclosed to a leading daily that before starting Homi Adajania's film ‘Takadum’, he had planned to do some weekend theatre shows.
He said, “I plan to do a couple of weekend shows before I kick off Homi's film and then will continue to dabble in the theatre between schedules.”
Sushant also recalled his theatre days saying that it had taught him the fact that best performance was not the one where someone delivered dialogues confidently, but where someone had to react silently when other person was narrating the dialogues.
The shooting of ‘Takadum’ was delayed as the makers wanted some more time to work on certain elements of the script. The actor himself had admitted his love for theatres many times in the past. Thus, he may go back to theatres as he has always done what he loved.
Sushant had himself admitted that he had not signed any flick post the success of his last release. He opened up on the same stating that he was keener to do challenging roles and was confident that the roles offered to him were the ones he could pull off easily. Thus, he didn’t choose them.
The actor will next be seen in ‘Raabta’ alongside Kriti Sanon.
