Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Kangana Ranaut are undoubtedly the two strongest women in the industry. Not just they speak their mind in every situation but never shy away from putting forward their opinions about anything under the sun. This time again when Kangana Ranaut added her Me Too story to allegations of sexual misconduct against Queen director Vikas Bahl, Sonam Kapoor said, “Kangana being Kangana Ranaut, she says a lot of stuff. Sometimes, it’s hard to take her seriously, but I love the fact that she has spunk and she says what she believes in.”

Well, this didn’t do down smoothly with the Queen actress and she lashed out at Sonam, questioning ‘who is she to judge me?’

The fight really got ugly but Sonam Kapoor Ahuja had the best support by her side who not only helped her fight it but also push away the negativity. Yes, we are talking about Anand Ahuja. After this huge lashing out at each other, Sonam Kapoor took to her social media to put the message forward that we should stand together instead of pulling each other down. Sonam wrote:

The source of all the positivity in Sonam’s life was Anand Ahuja who filled her with confidence and positivity even when she was surrounded with a lot of backlash. Amid all the Me Too controversy, Sonam didn’t forget to praise her better half for standing with her. She shared a post on Instagram saying how proud she is to be married to this greatest man. #MeToo: Alok Nath raped me, says writer-producer Vinta Nanda

It is the escalating voices against sexual harassment across the world as part of the #MeToo wave that gave Vinta Nanda, a veteran writer-producer of the avant-garde 1990s' show "Tara" fame, the courage to pen down the experiences which had left her "shattered". "He(Alok Nath) was an alcoholic, shameless and obnoxious but he was also the television star of that decade, so not only was he forgiven for all his bad behaviour, many of the guys would also egg him on to be his worst," Nanda wrote, adding that he even harassed the show's lead actress who was not interested in him.

Sharing the "worst" that happened, Nanda recounted the incidents that followed after she left a party at Alok's house at 2 a.m. She says her drinks were mixed. "I started to walk home on the empty streets... Midway I was accosted by this man who was driving his own car and he asked me to sit in it and said he would drop me home. I trusted him and sat in his car.

"I have faint memory after that. I can remember more liquor being poured into my mouth and I remember being violated endlessly. When I woke up the next afternoon, I was in pain. I hadn't just been raped, I was taken to my own house and had been brutalized.

"I couldn't get up for my bed. I told some of my friends but everybody advised me to forget about it and move on." Later, she got a job to write and direct a series for Plus Channel, and again her paths crossed with Alok.

Ratna Pathak Shah felt Golmaal 3 was uninteresting, says ‘it was so obvious and so crude’

While Bollywood beauty Sonam Kapoor Ahuja had a lot to say about the ongoing Me Too movement in Bollywood as well as Bollywood Queen Kangana Ranaut at the ‘We The Women’ summit, another bold and beautiful actress Ratna Pathak Shah voiced out her opinions on her movies Golmaal 3 and Lipstick Under My Burkha and others. Ratna Pathak Shah has always been experimental about her choices when it comes to films. From doing a path-breaking role in Lipstick Under My Burkha to a light-hearted role in Golmaal 3, the actress has taken everything that challenges her.

When asked about her role in Golmaal 3 and the movie in general, the actress revealed, “It was fun to do when I read that script, and when it was recited to me, I can’t tell you how funny it was. Believe me, it was a different film; what they made was not half as funny because for some reason they think the audience would not understand so they underline everything. They spoon fed everything, why? Are we dumb? And this is something I just don’t understand. Why is it that we keep making the same mistake over and over again!”
