Yet another episode of Karan Johar’s most controversial show Koffee With Karan 6 aired on the television and it was a blast. The Bachchan siblings, Abhishek and Shweta, talked in detail about their respective careers, personal lives and the responsibility of being popular as they graced the Kouch last night. While it was all fun and witty banter, the makers have already given us the sneak peek of the next episode featuring the very talents actor duo, Bhumi Pednekar and Rajkummar Rao.
Fans have always seen Rajkummar Rao’s brilliant portrayal of different characters onscreen but he is much more fun in his real life and the latest promo shared by Star World is proof enough. Just as the promo starts, which is shared on the channel’s social media, Rajkummar, Bhumi and Karan seem to be in a fun mood and engage in a quick exchange of dialogues. As Rajkummar says ‘Karan Saab’, the host gives him a disgusted look saying ‘sorry’. On the other hand, Bhumi Pednekar says ‘Aa Kabhi Haveli par Raj’. The fun doesn’t end here. Karan Johar asks Rajkummar Rao, which looks to be in a rapid-fire round, about an actor he would like to be paired with if playing the role of a gay, Rajkummar wittily asks KJo, ‘you are not doing anything after Bombay Velvet na’, to Karan replies, ‘I’m talking about a successful actor’. PM Narendra Modi’s Jab We Met reply to Kartik Aaryan, Imitiaz Ali’s backfie is winning the internet
From biggest filmmakers like Karan Johar, Imtiaz Ali, Dinesh Vijan to actors like Kartik Aaryan, Parineeti Chopra, Kapil Sharma, the entire Bollywood gathered at the launch of India's first National Museum of Indian Cinema in Mumbai which was inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi. After the event, many actors shared pictures and videos from the event and the selfies they clicked with PM Modi and looks like the Prime minister is on a roll to reply to all of them.
Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan shared a ‘backfie’ from the event in which Kartik Aaryan, Karan Johar, Imtiaz Ali and Dinesh Vijan were seen sharing the frame. Interestingly, the click also featured the back side of PM Modi’s head which is why Kartik captioned it as, 'Losers’ backfie with the honorable PM!' However, PM Narendra Modi was not in agreement with the caption. The Prime minister took to Twitter to reply to the stars’ backfie and wrote, 'Not losers but Rockstars! Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan to begin shooting for ‘Good News’ from THIS date
Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan are all set to feature together in yet another Bollywood flick after giving superhits like Bewafaa, Gabbar Is Back, Kambakht Ishq and others in Raj Mehta’s Good News. Akshay Kumar already has an interesting line up of 4 film in 2019 and now he is gearing up to commence his shoot with the gorgeous Kareena Kapoor Khan. After wrapping his next film Kesari, Khiladi Kumar will begin shooting for Good news and reportedly he will join the sets on January 27.
Going by the reports in DNA, a source has told the tabloid, “Akshay has given his dates from the last week of January. The entire crew, including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh will also be shooting in Mumbai for the second schedule of the film. He will join them on the sets around January 27. Akki and Bebo weren’t required for that schedule. The four of them will shoot their combination scenes now, whereas there will also be a third schedule featuring only the two main leads.”
Total Dhamaal: When Ajay Devgn convinced Sanjay Mishra to do his stunt
Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn convinced his "Total Dhamaal" co-star Sanjay Mishra to do a stunt himself for the film. Ajay, known for doing most of his own stunts, along with the filmmaker Indra Kumar convinced Sanjay. In the name of rehearsals, Ajay got Sanjay to give the stunt a try which ended up to be the real shot which is a part of the film. "We wanted to scale up the action since it is an adventure comedy and take the stunts notches higher," Kumar said in a statement.
"At first, Sanjay was quite apprehensive when I narrated the scene. But Ajay calmed him down and motivated him to perform it, and I too spoke to him at length. Together, we convinced him to take the shot. This is quite the first time he has done action like this, but it worked out well in the end," added Kumar, who has directed and co-produced the adventure comedy.
Aditya Roy Kapur and Disha Patani to come together for Mohit Suri's revenge thriller?
Aditya Roy Kapur has completed the last schedule of his multi-starrer period drama Kalank and looks like he already has his next film to start. If rumors are to be true, the actor will be seen sharing the screen space with Baaghi 2 actress Disha Patani in filmmaker Mohit Suri’s upcoming revenge thriller drama. Aditya Roy Kapur and Mohit Suri last came together for 2013 blockbuster Aashiqui 2 and now this will be the second time. Reports of the two falling apart surfaced the internet a while back but looks like all is well between them.
Going by the reports in Bollywood Hungana, a source revealed, “Mohit Suri was keen on reuniting with Aditya Roy Kapur and thought that this would be a good script. He has also got Disha Patani on board. He seems to be quite impressed with the actress’ work and thinks that this would be a fresh pairing onscreen. It is said to be a revenge thriller that will be extensively shot against the backdrop of Goa.”
The film is said to be a romantic action thriller and will see a love triangle. Reports also suggests that Mohit Suri has roped in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety fame Sunny Singh as the send lead. Also, a source associated with the project told Mumbai Mirror, “A huge set is also being put up in Mumbai, the film goes on floors in the next couple of months.”
