Janhvi Kapoor to start preparations for biopic on Gunjan Saxena

A Mumbai Mirror report says, ''Janhvi will start prep in the next few days with basic flying lessons and sessions on how the Indian Air Force works and lives. She spent time with Gunjan a few months ago and will be meeting her again to understand her story better''. Gunjan along with her fellow lieutenant Srividya Rajan brought soldiers safely despite facing attack from the enemy. Sonali Bendre is a ray of hope to all who give up easily. She radiates optimism and positive vibes, which can be perfectly felt through her social media posts. Sonali Bendre has finally returned to Mumbai ''where (her) heart is'' after months of chemotherapy sessions in New York.  The actress was spotted at Mumbai airport early in the morning with her husband Goldie Behl. Aanand L Rai is one of the directors of Bollywood, who has revamped the portrayal of small towns in Hindi films. The credit of bringing small-town stories with utter charm goes to him. The director, who has earlier helmed Tanu Weds Manu along with its sequel and Raanjhanaa, has again collaborated with his writer Himanshu Sharma to bring a unique story. However, this time, he has a star in his film. Zero, starring Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif is all set to release on December 21. The film in which SRK plays the role of a vertically challenged person has set the expectations of people soaring. 

It is for the first time, Rai has cast big names in his film. When asked, what made him do so, the director said the story is fairytale-like, hence it needed a bigger audience which the cast gave him. Full story here.

Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas take wedding vows as per Hindu rituals

Actress and former Miss World Priyanka Chopra finally tied the knot with American singer Nick Jonas as per traditional Hindu ceremony at Jodhpur's Umaid Bhawan Palace. After wedding festivities which included mehendi ceremony, friendly cricket match and a power-packed desi musical evening, the couple took wedding vows as per Catholic and Hindu traditions.

Priyanka looked "breathtaking in her traditional red Indian wedding outfit", a source told E! News.

"Nick did a beautiful job following the customs of a Hindu ceremony. It was lovely seeing how they honoured both of their heritages," the insider added. Full story and more pictures here.

Anushka Sharma spent time on a wheelchair for her character in Zero. "With time I started to understand it better - staying on the wheelchair the whole time I was on set and for three months before as I worked with the occupational therapist and audiologist. I did all these to understand the confinements one feels when one has to spend a lifetime on a wheelchair.
