Alia Bhatt announces Sadak 2 on father Mahesh Bhatt’s 70th birthday
Alia Bhatt shared a video with an official announcement of Sadak 2. The sequel will have Sanjay Dutt, Pooja Bhatt, Alia Bhatt and Aditya Roy Kapur in lead roles. The film will be directed by Mahesh Bhatt. It will hit the theatres sometime in November next year.

Shahid Kapoor makes a strong statement on nepotism during Batti Gul Meter Chalu
During Batti Gul Meter Chalu promotions, Shahid Kapoor said that we’re living in the most nepotistic times we’ve seen ever. He even blamed social media for people related to celebrities getting all the limelight.
“We are also in one of the most nepotistic times, we've ever been in. Everybody who has anything to do with an actor or a producer or a director kinda tries to become an actor. And there is a lot less access to people who are not within the fraternity. And honestly, social media hasn't really helped that because the people who tend to get noticed are the people who happen to be somebody of a celebrity. Therefore, you are in the limelight. So, it's a big contradiction,” he said.
