New Delhi: Actress Katrina Kaif turned up the heat with her svelte avatar for the June cover of Vogue magazine. Her allure during the photoshoot was effortless, her smile to die for and her style to take lessons from.
But this month’s edition was much more than Katrina’s beauty, it was about candid confessions. All of us know how this British actress and model; after years of struggle has become one of the most sought after heroines in Bollywood. During her journey, she made many friends, fell in love and also got her heart broken. The latest incident of broken heart for Katrina came when actor Ranbir Kapoor and she parted ways after dating for almost seven years.
After almost a decade in the industry, Katrina now says she has no time for Bollywood friendships. While speaking to the magazine she was quite clear on what she wants from her career now.
She said,
“I think I no longer make friends in a way that I am too attached or dependent on people. This is the film industry, this is a place of work and sometimes we mix the personal and the professional too closely.”
Well, maybe it points out in the direction that she has had enough of attachments.
Also, Kat revealed why she chooses to stay quiet when a lot is written about her. She thinks, is is because of her sun sign.
“All Cancerians are guarded to a certain extent. That’s just the way it is.”
The ‘Fitoor’ girl then doled out that in this world where social media has become such a common phenomenon, why is she not in any one of them. Katrina explained that she fears she will always have to clarify herself.
“I fear I might get into a war of words, constantly clarifying myself. I guess there is a positive and negative side to it.”
“But it is something I say I have been thinking of doing for a while,”
she laughed off.
With her statement, it is somewhat clear that Katrina will always be guarded and that she will stay away from Bollywood relations. For better, or for worse
