The first poster of Irrfan Khan-starrer Karwaan has been released on Tuesday. Going by the picture, the film suggests that its about a lifetime journey of three lost souls. Also, it has a ‘dead body’ angle to it, as the tag line ‘3 lost souls, 2 dead bodies and a journey of lifetime’ suggests. It stars Irrfan Khan, Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Palkar in lead roles. Sharing the poster on his Twitter account, film trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, “Irrfan, Dulquer Salmaan and Mithila Palkar... First look poster of #Karwaan... Trailer out tomorrow... Akarsh Khurana directs... 3 Aug 2018 release.”

The trailer of the film will be released tomorrow while the film releases on August 3 clashing with Anil Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Rajkummar Rao-starrer Fanney Khan.

The movie has been shot in the beautiful locales of Kerala. Directed by Akarsh Khurana, 'Karwaan' revolves around three oddballs from different walks of life who are thrown together on a somewhat bizarre journey which helps them find normalcy in their lives.

This will be the second Irrfan-starrer movie to release since the actor announced he is suffering from a neuroendocrine tumour. The actor is in UK to get the treatment of his rare disorder.

A few days ago, Irrfan Khan opened up on his battle with cancer and won million of hearts once again. He wrote, “For the first time, I felt what 'freedom' truly means. It felt like an accomplishment. As if I was tasting life for the first time, the magical side of it. My confidence in the intelligence of the cosmos became absolute. I feel as if it has entered every cell of mine.

Time will tell if it stays, but that is how I feel as of now.”
