Kartik Aaryan’s Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety becomes second highest grosser of 2018, beats PadMan
Kartik Aaryan’s Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is unstoppable at the box office.
Actor Kartik Aaryan starer Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety is doing wonderful business at the box office. The movie has won hearts and became the second highest grosser of 2018 beating Akshay Kumar starrer PadMan. The total collection of the film now stands at Rs 82.10 cr. The numbers were shared by trade analyst Taran Adarsh on social media. Well, it is yet to be seen if Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety manages to cross Rs 100 cr mark at the box office.
However, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmaavat featuring actors Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Shahid Kapoor is still topping the list.
Taran took to micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote, “#SonuKeTituKiSweety is now the SECOND HIGHEST GROSSER of 2018, after #Padmaavat... Crosses #PadMan [approx ₹ 81 cr]… [Week 3] Fri 2.27 cr, Sat 4.12 cr. Total: ₹ 82.10 cr. India biz... SUPER-HIT... #SKTKS.”
The film is also dominating all the latest releases like Pari and Hate Story 4. Urvashi Rautela’s film has collected Rs 7.95 cr in two days.
Along with Kartik, the movie also featured Nushrat Bharucha and Sunny Singh in pivotal roles. Nushrat and Kartik have earlier worked together in films like Pyaar Ka Punchnama, Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 and Akaash Vani.
