Kareena Kapoor looks stunning, says I'm not a feminist, at Veere Di Wedding music launch

‘Veeres’ Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania are stepping out in some of the best summer hues for their upcoming film Veere Di Wedding promotions. Ever since the promotion spree started, the fashion aficionados like us are getting some visual treat in form of Kareena’s black skirt and blouse combo and Sonam’s bottle green evening gown. The Veere girls are taking us on a delightful sartorial tour. Apart from their fashion statements, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sonam Kapoor also gave us some worth remembering moments at the Veere Di Wedding music launch in Mumbai.

The Veeres gang led by Kareena and Sonam were in a merry mood at the launch event. They even shook their legs to the hit party number from the movie Tareefan.  The song has become a trending party number ever since it has been launched. It is successfully towering at over 43 million views on YouTube and still counting.

During a conversation with the media at the launch event, Kareena Kapoor Khan spoke about her liaisons with feminism. She said, “I believe in equality. I am not a feminist, I am a woman. And above all I am a human being. I am as proud as I am as Saif Ali Khan's wife than as a Kareena Kapoor.”

There were reports in the media that Veere Di Wedding has bagged some fresh troubles with the Censor Board. Denying any such trouble, producer Rhea Kapoor said, “So far we have had no problem with the Censor Board. I don't want to talk more about it because we still have not gotten the Censor (certificate) in our hands. Once we get it, we will issue a proper press release.”

Talking about Veere Di Wedding, the film’s release is gearing near. The Shashanka Ghosh directorial is scheduled to release on June 1, 2018, facing a clash with Harvardhan Kapoor’s Bhavesh Joshi Superhero.
