Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi received positive response of fans and critics at the box office. Kangana impressed everyone in the role of Rani Laxmibai with her superb acting skills. Interestingly, with Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, Kangana also made her debut as a director.
Recently, Kangana confirmed about directing a biopic based on her life. During an interview with Dainik Bhaskar, recently Kareena Kapoor Khan was asked about her reaction on Kangana’s biopic.
Talking to Dainik Bhaskar, Kareena said, "I have heard that Kangana's biopic is coming. I am excited to watch her biopic."
Kareena also praised Kangana’s acting skills and said that she is one of the finest actresses and she likes her. She also added that Kangana is an astonishing star and an intelligent person.
Earlier in an interview, Kangana said that her biopic isn't a propaganda film. She added that the film will be a sincere account of her journey so far.
Earlier, British actor Richard Keep, who essayed General Hugh Rose in Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, praised Kangana’s acting skills and said, ‘’We met rarely over the course of making the film and this was intentional as the story is a ‘cat and mouse' chase until the end. Kangana as director is detailed, specific, and pertinent...clear in pursuit of excellence."
