Filmmaker Karan Johar has recently admitted that he has suffered heartbreak and was present at the wedding of the love of his life. He stated that his films are someway related to his personal experiences. The director also expressed his views on true love saying that he would like to be single and rich.
While speaking at an event, the director was asked about dramatic and larger than life Bollywood movies to which Karan said that hindi movies are linked to real life. He was quick to add that he was present at the mandap when someone he loved was getting married to someone else. He added that such things make you feel that you can never get over it.
Karan also chose money over true love saying that he would prefer to be rich and single.
He said, “True love goes away, lust takes over at times, so I would be rich and single.”
Well, this is a big revelation made by the director who is famous for creating magic on screen with his beautiful romantic tales. The director has been quite vocal about his life and has even revealed shocking details in his autobiography ‘An Unsuitable Boy’.
